- Supporting teacher supplements by raising them each year until we reach a 10% local supplement.
- Improving discipline in the classroom by analyzing discipline data and reviewing school climate surveys.
- Lightening teacher's work load by eliminating unnecessary paperwork/programs, allowing teachers to focus more on true instruction.
- Continuing to support and add more CTE (Career Technical Educational) programs at our schools.
- Continuing funding for school nurses by working with ECU Health and Pitt County Schools. Improving our ability to meet the health needs of our students by increasing the number of school nurses.
